1. The Dentmores service
Dentmores is a technology platform that helps patients find approved dental providers and coordinate bookings and payments. Dental diagnosis and treatment are provided by the clinic, hospital, or dental professional you choose, not by the Dentmores platform.
2. Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your password private, and promptly update contact details that change. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you notify Dentmores that it may have been compromised. Patient accounts may not be used to impersonate another person or interfere with the service.
3. Appointment requests
A submitted request begins as pending acceptance and is not a confirmed visit. The provider may accept or decline based on availability and clinical or operational considerations. When accepted, you receive a one-hour window to pay the full listed fee. If payment is not verified in time, the booking may expire.
4. Prices and payments
Dentmores uses the provider service price stored by the platform when the appointment is created. Pesapal processes checkout, while Dentmores confirms payment through server-side verification. A browser return screen, popup message, receipt image, or patient statement alone does not confirm payment.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Available cancellation and refund actions depend on the appointment status, timing, provider policy, completed payment, and applicable law. The appointment details show the action currently available. Refunds may require payment-provider processing time after approval.
6. Emergencies
The patient web app can start an emergency search and connect you with a nearby provider. Clinic contacts and directions are informational. For severe bleeding, breathing difficulty, major facial trauma, or another life-threatening condition, go to the nearest hospital or contact emergency services.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false bookings, payment evidence, reviews, or identity information.
- Do not probe, disrupt, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass security controls.
- Do not upload unlawful, abusive, or clinically inappropriate patient notes.
- Do not use provider information for unsolicited marketing.
8. Availability and responsibility
Dentmores works to keep the platform available and information accurate, but provider availability, treatment outcomes, network access, and third-party services can change. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dentmores is not responsible for independent clinical decisions or treatment supplied by providers.
9. Suspension, changes, and governing law
Dentmores may restrict accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in ways that risk patients, providers, or the platform. These terms may be updated with a revised effective date. They are governed by the applicable laws of Uganda, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
